This blog appears as a
small idea between friends after seeing the need to know how many slots for the
Ironman World Championship in Kona will be in our Age Group for our next
Ironman without having to wait for race day.
I started in the sport of triathlon in 2010, and in 2013 I made my debut on an Ironman, from that moment the idea of going to Kona someday began to germinate. From this point I have been introduced in M-dot world slowly (some of my fellow have not had an introduction so slow and have gone faster) and the mixture of obsession of having data all ( as good triathlete ) with my background as a good engineer to prepare Excel charts for everything create this project , now as a blog to provide everyone in the world of Ironman enough stats to plan their attack to obtain a Kona slot.
The idea is to create, for as many Ironman competitions as possible, a good database as entries are sold out ( and not have to wait until race day ) for all those obsessed like me and my fellow triathletes may start spying on their opponents and make their planification based on the slots they have available.
I hope this project will take shape during the passage of time and we can go to expand its scope and increase the data provided, for that reason we’d appreciate any triathlete that find this blog useful to give their point of view in order to upgrade this page and help us create something great.
